As the San Francisco 49ers explore trade options with at least one of their star receivers, the New England Patriots had some interest in Deebo Samuel before the start of the 2024 NFL draft.
Per CBS Sports' Josina Anderson, the Patriots and 49ers had "preliminary discussions" about Samuel on Thursday.
