Chiefs' Updated Depth Chart, Salary Cap Space After Marquise Brown's Contract

The Kansas City Chiefs added a valuable piece to the offense on Thursday, picking up wide receiver Marquise Brown.

The Chiefs signed Brown, who spent the last two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, to a one-year, $7 million deal, per The Athletic's Dianna Russini.

Wide receiver struggles were a major theme for Kansas City in 2023, though the team still managed to win the Super Bowl, and adding Brown should help relieve some of those woes next year.

Brown, who had 574 yards and four touchdowns in 14 games last season, gives quarterback Patrick Mahomes another solid target as the Chiefs look to win an unprecedented third straight championship in 2024.
