The American flag flies high all across the land, sporting the thirteen red and white stripes next to a field of fifty white stripes on a blue square. The colors red, white and blue are what many in America see as the most patriotic color combination there is. And since everyone loves to be patriotic, teams from high schools to colleges to the pros adopt those colors for their uniforms and logos.
