Adrian Peterson's All Day Foundation, which donates to a number of charities in Minnesota and beyond, is on indefinite hiatus. A statement on the charity's homepage reads:

Adrian Peterson’s All Day Foundation is on a hiatus as of September 16, 2014.

The Foundation will reengage after Adrian, his family, and staff have reflected on how the current situation impacts the direction for Adrian’s philanthropy.

One of the charities the foundation had donated to in the past, the Special Olympics Minnesota, has already cut ties with the All Day Foundation. In the wake of child abuse charges against Peterson that have sparked a national debate about parental discipline and corporal punishment, several groups have already started distancing themselves from Peterson and the Vikings.

Earlier Tuesday, all Nike stores in the Twin Cities area confirmed that all Adrian Peterson merchandise had been pulled from their shelves. Radisson Hotels, one of the main sponsors of the Minnesota Vikings, has suspended their sponsorship deal while they evaluate the situation.
