Comedian Steve Martin has done it all. Over the course of his career he has been a brilliant stand-up comic, a star on Saturday Night Live and the lead in classic movies from "The Jerk" to "Trains, Planes and Automobiles" to "Roxanne" to "The Three Amigos."
However, there's one thing the "wild and crazy guy" has not done and that's referee a football match in England. Which is why Martin took to Twitter on Friday to defend himself in the face of fired-up Newcastle supporters who'd trolled him mercilessly after referee Steve Martin sent two Magpies off in a 2-1 Championship loss to Nottingham Forest.
