The 24-year-old was highly rated during his time in the club's youth side but has failed to establish himself in the first team.
He has made just seven league appearances since his arrival from Domzale back in 2009 with a series of loan moves in the years that followed.
Now the Slovenian is set to move on for good when his contract expires this month.
According to Voetbal International, Vuckic is set to pen a deal at FC Twente, who need a replacement for Leeds-bound Mateusz Klich.
Vuckic had a short trial with the Dutch club back in March and he appears to have done enough to earn himself a permanent contract with them.
