Newcastle United 3-1 Southampton: Callum Wilson nets twice

Newcastle United stormed from behind to beat basement boys Southampton and move another step closer to Champions League football next season.

They trailed to Stuart Armstrong's first-half goal as the Saints threatened to pull off an unexpected win to boost their survival chances.

But Eddie Howe's introduction of Callum Wilson at the break proved important as the striker equalised nine minutes after the interval.

Wilson was involved again as the Toon saw another goal chalked off but Theo Walcott then put through his own net a few minutes later to give them the lead.
