Yankees' top prospect Gleyber Torres wins another award

TAMPA -- Shortstop prospect Gleyber Torres was a big spring training storyline in Yankees camp even though he hasn't played above High-A.

The Venezuelan put on a show last fall winning the batting title and MVP of the Arizona Fall League as a 19-year-old and he did it again this spring at 20, this time facing some big-league pitching.

The Yankees can greatly improve their chances of 2017 being a good season with one big move before Opening Day.

And so, the Yankees name an outstanding spring training rookie every year and the 2017 choice Torres was a no-brainer for the James P.
