Yankees 2, Red Sox 4: You guessed it! The offense stunk!

It's to the point where I could have told you what was going to happen before the game even started.

Fenway Park, David Ortiz, and impending doom go together well. I had a sense this game wasn't going to go well well before the David Ortiz two-run home run off of Dellin Betances that would give the Red Sox a 4-2 victory over the Yankees for the first game between these two clubs.

That feeling started from pitch number one, essentially. Red Sox starter Henry Owens nearly hit Jacoby Ellsbury on the shoulder, and his command was completely out of whack all game, yet the Yankees could never truly cash in.
