Yankees' pitcher CC Sabathia's interview with Robin Roberts will air Friday morning on ABC's "Good Morning America" where the left-hander opens up for the first time publicly about his trip to rehab for alcohol.
The clip above is a preview of the taped interview. Sabathia, who left for rehab a day before New York's Wild Card playoff game against the Houston Astros, said he had no other choice, and that it "was just the time."
"I know it was a bad time of the season, but there was no other option for me but to get help," Sabathia tells Roberts.
