Series Recap: Yankees take two from Royals

Back in the Bronx, the New York Yankees appeared much more comfortable hosting the Kansas City Royals. With the final game being rained out, the Yanks took two of three and were one bad inning away from completing a sweep.

GAME 1

In their return to Yankee Stadium, the Bronx Bombers used power hitting and power pitching to secure a 4-2 victory in doubling up the Royals.
