After injuring his shoulder while participating in the World Baseball Classic for Team Netherlands, Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius appears to be inching closer to rejoining his teammates in the Bronx.
According to Yankees beat reporter, Bryan Hoch, Didi will begin playing in rehab games this Friday with Class A Tampa.
