That was not a very good homestand for the Yankees. Today, they take a much needed day off before their series against the Braves this weekend.
Yesterday was not a good day at all, for far more reasons than the Yankees losing the game and the series to the Astros. As this is a baseball blog, we will not go into the awful details of the tragedy that occurred. However, we here at Pinstripe Alley just wish to offer our thoughts and best wishes to the loved ones of those affected. On a personal note from the PSA staff, due to their shameful, disheartening, and downright sickening front page cover decision, we are officially no longer linking to any New York Daily News story for the foreseeable future.
