New York Yankees in agreemend with Matt Holliday (Report)

With Carlos Beltran off the market, the New York Yankees are reportedly close to a deal with 36-year old Matt Holliday.

Sweeny Murti of WFAN was the first to report the news. New York, who currently has a DH vacancy, will likely use Holliday as the answer.

In 110 games with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2016, Holliday smacked 20 home runs and drove in 62 runs while slashing .246/.322/.461. He has 295 career home runs.

The deal will be for a mere one year and cost the Yankees $13 million.
