Random note from Brendan Kuty: C Radley Haddad, who traveled with the Yankees a bunch of times as an extra player this spring, is now with the big league team as one of the two bullpen catchers. Jason Brown is the other bullpen catcher. He was on the Triple-A Scranton coaching staff last season and spend time in the farm system in the mid-2000s. Longtime bullpen catcher Ramon Rodriguez left the Yankees to become a scout with the Angels over the winter.
