TAMPA — From their days playing for the Dominican Republic in the WBC, Dellin Betances and Manny Machado developed a friendship that remains in place.
Like a lot of his Yankees teammates, Betances is quite aware what adding a talent such as Machado would have meant. Yet, Betances says GM Brian Cashman’s moves during the offseason have been overlooked by some because Bryce Harper and Machado aren’t in pinstripes.
