The Yankees and Alex Rodriguez have resolved the issue regarding bonuses under the provision of his contract related to historic statistical accomplishments.
The two parties agreed that $3.5 million will go to charities. The Special Operations Warrior Foundation, Boys & Girls Club of Tampa and Pitch In For Baseball will receive donations totaling $1 million and the Major League Baseball Urban Youth Foundation will receive $2.5 million.
