Yankees Recap: Yankees Blown Out by Rangers in 15-4 Loss

The New York Yankees  woes continued on Saturday, as they were dismantled by the Texas Rangers 15-4.  CC Sabathia (1-4) only lasted 2.1 innings after giving up five runs on six hits as the Yankees had yet another third inning nightmare. He was replaced by Esmil Rogers, who promptly gave up another five runs. It was an ugly game marred by poor pitching and defense, an all too familiar narrative recently as the Yankees have now lost nine of their last ten. Rangers Nick Martinez (4-0) gets the win.

It was a productive game for the Ranger’s offense as they scored 15 runs on 15 hits against dreadful Yankee pitching, but it was a blowout 3rd inning that sealed the Yankees’ fate.
