Dellin Betances blows lead in Yankees’ 3-1 loss to Blue Jays

BLUE JAYS 3, YANKEES 1

TORONTO - A pair of familiar faces brought the Yankees' winning streak to an end Monday night.

R.A. Dickey threw eight brilliant innings and Russell Martin delivered a go-ahead pinch-hit single, leading the Blue Jays to a 3-1 comeback win against the Yankees at Rogers Centre.

The loss snapped the Yankees' three-game winning streak, though it's only their second defeat in the last eight games and third in the last 13.

Chase Whitley did a masterful job of stepping in for Masahiro Tanaka, but the bullpen had a rare hiccup as Chris Martin and Dellin Betances combined to blow a 1-0 lead in the eighth inning.
