Brian McCann's three-run walkoff homer in 12th gives Yankees comeback victory

Mark Teixeira brought the fire. Brian McCann brought the water.

Down by two in the 12th, Teixeira singled to right to drive in Brett Gardner from third and, as he did so, premature July 4 fireworks exploded above Yankee Stadium on Friday night. One batter later, McCann blasted Steve Geltz's 1-and-0 fastball into the rightfield stands, earning the Yankees a come-from-behind, 7-5 win over the Rays, and earning him a celebratory water bath at home plate.
