It is the end of the season and an entirely appropriate moment for players to take to social media to thank colleagues and fans. So the fact Ronald Zubar is saying thank you to colleagues and fans does not at all mean that he is saying goodbye.
He is, however, saying "it's time to rest and will see for the future".

The New York Red Bulls will begin the process of dismantling the current roster and building for 2017 in due course. And Zubar's salary ($240K base; $320K guaranteed - we are told), age (31), and injury history (he's had some issues staying fit in his time at RBNY) would suggest his place in the squad is at least up for discussion.
