After some thrilling games in the third round of the US Open Cup by the lower division sides, it was time on Thursday afternoon, for US Soccer to start drawing the winners of the third round and the MLS clubs into the fourth round of the US Open Cup.
After waiting with baited breath on Twitter and in a pool of sides in the Northeast, it was officially shown that the New York Red Bulls would take on the New England Revolution in the fourth round of the US Open Cup.
This means that this will be the first time in two consecutive tournaments that the Red Bulls will not face and host new York City FC, in the fourth round of the tournament.
