#MLSCupPlayoffs Preview: How the Red Bulls Have Fared Against Possible Playoff Opponents

The New York Red Bulls have clinched a the top seed in the Eastern Conference, and have all but clinched the first seed.

As the first seed, they've earned a bye through the Knockout Round, and await the lower seeded winner of the No. 3-No. 6 and No. 4-No. 5 matchups in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. They cannot face the No. 3 seed in the semifinals.

Toronto FC locked up the No. 3 seed, so New York won't face them on October 30 and November 6. The Red Bulls can only face them if they both advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.
