The New York Red Bulls are set to close out Desert Diamond Cup on Saturday, Feb. 25 against Eastern Conference rivals New England Revolution at 3 p.m. ET.
After using the past week to integrate Red Bulls academy players and trialists into the group, head coach John Wolyniec hopes to see his team “take the next step.”
“I think we’ve gotten a little bit more on the same page through some games,” Wolyniec said. “We’ll see some guys play some more minutes, get some guys closer to being fit for 90 minutes. Hopefully the tactics take the next step.
