Matt Miazga has started the last couple of games for Vitesse, returning to the lineup after senior center back Maikel van der Werff his second serious injury of the season. The young American's last stint as a starter for Vitesse was cut short by a string of poor results, but he has worked his way back into favor with head coach Henk Fraser and the team won the last game Miazga started (against Go Ahead Eagles on Sunday, February 26) - so perhaps he hangs on to his place in the lineup.
Vitesse's 3-1 win over Go Ahead Eagles snapped a two-game losing skid and kept the team in the hunt for a top-seven finish in Eredivisie.
