The Rangers and Islanders both play tonight, and with 90 points, the Rangers remain in second place in the Metropolitan Division, five ahead of the wild-card Islanders, who host the Senators. At the conclusion of the evening, the Islanders still will have two games in hand.
1. Rick Nash, who missed practice on Tuesday, is back in the lineup against the Bruins.
After skating with a few teammates this morning, a frustrated Nash said the soreness in his leg that caused doctors and trainers to play it safe had passed.
Nash played six games, with his strongest minutes and a goal coming against the Panthers on Monday.
