Rangers outlast Senators to shake off rough weekend

It didn’t take long for the Rangers to recover from the Thanksgiving hangover.

The Blueshirts bounced back from their difficult weekend with a 4-2 victory over the Senators at the Garden on Monday night.

The Rangers (13-10-2) had come off a tough holiday weekend when they lost on Friday in Philadelphia and Saturday at home to the Capitals, the dual losses putting an end to a 9-1-1 run. The Senators (9-12-3) came in having lost three in a row while giving up a combined 19 goals. They were the worst defensive team in the league, allowing 4.
