Rangers Agree to Terms With Forward Cristoval Nieves

New York Rangers General Manager Jeff Gorton announced today that the team has agreed to terms with forward Cristoval Nieves on an entry-level contract.

Nieves, 22, skated in 35 games with the University of Michigan this season, registering 10 goals and 21 assists for 31 points, along with a plus-nine rating and 18 penalty minutes. He established collegiate career-highs in goals, points, and plus/minus rating, and tied his collegiate career-high in assists while helping the Wolverines win the Big Ten Championship. Nieves ranked fifth on the team in assists and tied for sixth in points in 2015-16.
