For those who didn’t watch tonight’s game with the Mets advancing in the playoffs, this one was pretty straightforward. The classic goaltending duel that we all expected Lundqvist vs. Price to have. Price was just a little bit better tonight. But boy, did Hank give the Rangers every opportunity. Brilliant once again.
The final score simply does not indicate how close this one was. In fact, the Rangers were the better team 5v5 given the amount of penalties.
