New York Rangers: Shutout by the Senators in Ottawa

The New York Rangers looked like a completely different team compared to the one that just played against the Senators on Monday.

The Rangers looked to sweep a home and home series in Ottawa, but could not seal the deal. Craig Anderson led his team to a 3-0 shutout win. The loss extended the Rangers losing streak at the Canadian Tire Centre to eight games.

Just over two minutes into the game after a Chris Kreider shot was blocked, the Senators came back and Drake Batherson scored on a deflection of a Matt Duchene shot.

Later in the period the Rangers would attempt to clear the puck, but the Senators kept it in.
