New York Rangers forward Kevin Hayes will be out for two to three weeks due to a lower-body injury.
Hayes suffered the injury during Sunday’s game against the Detroit Red Wings. He had an MRI on Monday. The earliest that he could return would be February 7 and he could miss eight or nine games if he’s out for three weeks.

The forward had played in all of the Rangers 47 games this season.
