It took 40 minutes, but the New York Rangers offense finally woke up.
Taking on the basement-dwelling Buffalo Sabres, the Rangers were especially anxious to get their offense on track. Playing a bad team is motivation enough to not stink up the joint offensively, but the Rangers had extra motivation to put a few pucks in the net.
