Antti Raanta Denies Rooting Against Hawks – Chicago Sun-Times
In a Finnish newspaper called the Ilta-Sanomat, New York Rangers backup goalie, Antti Raanta, allegedly said some not-so-nice things about his former team, the Chicago Blackhawks.
Raanta played in 14 games with the Hawks and 11 for the AHL Rockford Ice Hogs last year. Then during the NHL Playoffs, Raanta wanted to stay in Rockford where he could play but was called back up and was essentially used as Chicago’s benchwarmer instead.
