Mets SS prospect Gavin Cecchini was 3-for-5 with a solo home run on Saturday.
In six games during this year's Arizona Fall League, Cecchini is batting .350 with a .423 OBP, three extra-base hits and five RBI, while splitting time between shortstop and second base.
Cecchini, 22, began playing second base with Triple-A Las Vegas toward the end of last season, though ESPN.com's Keith Law left unimpressed after watching him Arizona.
"Cecchini continues to have problems throwing, even struggling on routine throws from second base," Law wrote last week after watching Cecchini on the right side of the infield.
