Mets’ minor league re-naming has some dirty choices

The organization’s minor league Double-A affiliate in upstate Binghamton, now known as the B-Mets, is undergoing a rebranding — and has narrowed its choices down to six proposed nicknames.

Many of the monikers are based on the region’s reputation as the “Carousel Capital of the World.” Thing is, they are also just loaded with innuendo, if you’re so inclined. Without further ado, in ascending order of possible naughtiness, here are the options:

Bullheads: A fairly standard straight-ahead, animal-themed option. The bullhead variety of catfish swims the local Susquehanna River, according to the team.
