The Syracuse Mets finished the season tied with the Scranton Wilkes-Barre RailRiders for first place in the International League North Division. The two teams played a one-game playoff to determine the division champions yesterday on the road in Moosic, PA. Syracuse came out of the gate strong, scoring five runs in the top of the first inning. The Mets added a sixth run in the top of the third inning on a solo-shot from Gregor Blanco. The RailRiders scored a run off of Ervin Santana in the bottom of the fourth inning, but Syracuse added a seventh insurance run on an RBI double from Jason Krizan in the top of the seventh.
