While Sports Illustrated picks the Mets to win the National League East for a second consecutive season, they have the Astros winning the World Series over the Cubs.
The Mets kick off the 2016 season on Sunday, April 3 against the Royals in Kansas City.
The Sports Illustrated cover jinx notwithstanding, it’s pretty awesome to see Matt Harvey, Jacob deGrom, and Jeurys Familia on the cover as one of the most anticipated seasons in team history is about to get underway.
