The Red Sox could be in the mix for Jay Bruce or Curtis Granderson if they prefer a left-handed hitting option, according to ESPN's Scott Lauber. Lauber suggests the Sox could also go after Matt Holiday or Mike Napoli with Carlos Beltran no longer available.

The Mets are positioned to move OF Jay Bruce and/or Curtis Granderson "fairly quickly" as the team heads into the upcoming winter meetings, according to Newsay's Marc Carig, who also reported the door isn't closed on dealing both players.
