Edwin Diaz, who gave up the lead in the rain Thursday night, allowed the winning run to score on Friday in the Mets' 5-4, 10-inning loss to the Cardinals.

Edwin Diaz blew it twice for the Mets — first Thursday night and then again Friday. At least it only counted as one loss.

The closer, after choking away a two-run lead in the rain Thursday, took the loss in the completion of the suspended game Friday, allowing a Paul DeJong RBI single in the 10th of a 5-4 loss to the Cardinals.
