A mysterious bat appeared to invade the Citi Field press box Tuesday night hours before the Mets were set to battle the Cincinnati Red, as captured by The Post’s Ken Davidoff and Mike Puma.
The blood-thirsty critter rounded the media’s home base multiple times, and it’s current whereabouts are unknown. New York City is home to nine different bat species.
“The Dark Knight returns?” one Twitter user scoffed in response. Unlikely, for Matt Harvey’s Los Angeles Angels won’t get a bite of the Mets this season.
