Thirty years ago today, October 25, 1986, the Mets won Game 6 of the 1986 World Series, which has become best known for the the ground ball by Mookie Wilson through Bill Buckner's legs in the bottom of the 10th inning...

However, according to Davey Johnson, it's the wild pitch from Bob Stanley earlier in the at bat to Wilson that was the more important moment...

"The game was over from that point on," Johnson told the Daily News in 1998. "It didn't matter whether it was the next at-bat.
