The Knicks open their preseason schedule against a team they know they can beat — a touring Brazilian club, Paschaolatto/Bauru, on Oct. 7 at the Garden.
Also in the Knicks’ six-game preseason schedule, they play a home-and-home against the Celtics. They visit Washington for their first NBA opponent and go to Charlotte.
They also will host the Sixers and Jahlil Okafor, who was drafted at No. 3, one spot before the Knicks selected rookie Kristaps Porzingis.
