Poll: Are the New York Knicks better off without Carmelo Anthony?

A day after saying he hasn't thought about waiving his no-trade clause, Carmelo Anthony maintained his loyalty to the New York Knicks and doesn't feel the need to prove that loyalty to anyone, reports ESPN's Ian Begley. But are the Knicks reciprocating that loyalty?

According to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne, Anthony hoped management would speak to him directly if it felt as negatively about his future with the team as was portrayed in a column written by Charley Rosen, who has worked with Knicks president Phil Jackson on his books.

Jackson met with Anthony Tuesday and asked the star forward if he would like to remain with the team, sources close to the situation told ESPN.
