The New York Knicks acquired Jerian Grant on the night of the 2015 NBA Draft. It was a widely applauded move by former team president Phil Jackson, as many analysts pegged Grant as a fringe lottery pick who could go earlier than he did.
Two years removed from the selection of Grant at the 2015 NBA Draft, it would be worth acquiring him all over again.
Grant completed his rookie season with the Knicks, but was included in the trade that brought Derrick Rose to New York. He’s coming off of a quietly solid sophomore season, but has found himself in a logjam of a point guard rotation.
