Phil Jackson’s free agency has been underwhelming, but starting July 11 the Knicks president hopes his two draft picks can rejuvenate the fan base’s hope for the 2015-16 season.
The Knicks on Tuesday officially announced their summer-league roster that will compete in Las Vegas, starting Saturday.
The list is highlighted by No. 4 overall pick, 7-foot-3 sharpshooter Kristaps Porzingis, and Jerian Grant, the 19th pick in the draft. Porzingis, 19, is hopeful he will play despite a sore hip and prove he is not a project who will take two years to develop. Grant, whose rights were acquired on Draft Night in exchange for Tim Hardaway Jr.
