The New York Knicks have addressed the flaws it had at point guard position in 2015-16 in a significant way. Team president Phil Jackson began the process by trading for Derrick Rose, and continued it by signing Brandon Jennings.
Though both players project to receive the bulk share of the minutes at the position, a need for a third point guard has presented itself.
Jennings and Rose are fine players, but they’re also prone to injuries. Jennings ruptured his achilles tendon in January of 2015, and Rose has undergone multiple surgeries on his knees.
According to Marc Berman of The New York Post, the Knicks are in talks with free agent point guard Chasson Randle.
