The New York Knicks are approaching an event that will define Phil Jackson’s tenure as team president. The 2017 NBA Draft will not only test the front office’s scouting ability, but could potentially be the last chance to find a star perimeter prospect to pair with Kristaps Porzingis.
Though all eyes are on the deep crop of point guards in the 2017 draft class, the Knicks are eyeing a star on the wings.
Though 2016-17 didn’t work out as planned, it’s fair to believe that, as Porzingis gains more experience, the Knicks will improve. If that proves to be the case, this could be the Knicks’ last high lottery pick for quite some time.
