The New York Knicks are one of the most recognizable and valuable organizations in all of professional sports. Thus, it holds weight when one accurately states that Jeremy Lin is one of the most popular players in franchise history.
Unfortunately for he and his supporters, Lin’s career with the Knicks came to a controversial end when contract negotiations never gained traction in 2011.
Lin is back in New York, but not with the Knicks. He signed a three-year deal worth roughly $38 million with the Brooklyn Nets, which is as close to Madison Square Garden as he could possible be without joining the Knicks again.
