Knicks add final offseason piece with French big man

This might not excite Carmelo Anthony or Knicks fans, but the team added potentially valuable depth in 25-year-old center Kevin Seraphin on Tuesday, according to multiple reports.

Sheridan Hoops’ Michael Scotto reported it was a one-year, $2.8 million deal for the Frenchman.

The 6-foot-10 Seraphin was a first-round pick of the Bulls in 2010, but traded to the Wizards a month later. He spent his first five years in the league in Washington, averaging 6.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 0.8 blocks. Seraphin appeared in a career-high 79 games last season for the Wizards and averaged 6.
