Knicks 118, Timberwolves 114: Scenes from Kyle O’Quinn’s unexpected masterpiece

Since the dawn of time, Friday Night Knicks has heralded contests of chaos, where up is down, black is white, and Kyle O’Quinn is an All-Star center.

Yeah, you heard me right. In a game with Karl-Anthony Towns and Kristaps Porzingis, the Knicks’ perpetual whipping boy was the best big on the court, on either team — 20 points and 13 rebounds (7 offensive, many of them at huge moments) — as the Knicks held off the Timberwolves, 118, 114.
